A super-couple workout in the rain.
I’ve been making up body weight workouts for Synnøve and I lately.
Today was the most gruesome yet. The rain came and went as we gritted our teeth and sweated out the reps. Mothers were worried, fathers came back from hunting with reindeer meat and freshly caught trout. The world turned as we punished ourselves.
The low down…
Three stations. You do as many reps as you can, then run approximately 50 meters down the gravel driveway to the cattle guard, and jog back up to the next station. If the other person is in that station, they have to stop, tell you what rep they are on, and jog. You pick up where they left off.
Station 1. Sit-ups : 2000
Station 2. Push-ups : 500
Station 3. 20 inch or 60 centimeter, Box Jumps : 1000
I’m guessing it took around 8-10 rounds and between 1.5 and 2 hours. That doesn’t seem possible… but by estimating my last facebook messages… yeah.
The hardest part was the sit-ups. Not in my stomach, which is very sore, but in my neck. My head is heavier than I knew.
Anyway, we are a bad ass super couple. Learn about it.
